Starting a new programme of study can be an exciting and daunting transition period for new learners. We are here to help you with each step and look forward to meeting you very soon.
2023 Induction Schedule
GCL New Student Induction Sept 13th:
9:45 – PD’s meet students at from door to meet and greet and show them to 404
10:30 onwards –
- Commencement of induction including PD overviews,
- Welcome videos from Student Union President and our Limerick Vice President,
- Message from Kevin O’Sullivan
- Sarah to briefly discuss Griffith Socials/Griffith engage and induction trip competition
- Brendan to give Moodle talk
- Faye to give Library overview
- Eilish to discuss Buddy System and wrap up
- Give out welcome packs
- Students break into Faculty Groups and leave 404 with PD’s
After Lunch – Medieval Castle Trip with Witness Ireland & tour of Limerick city sights
GCL Returning Student Induction Sept 14th:
10.00 - Presentation with Programme Director on information of the coming semester
10.45 - Details on the dissertation cycle and preparation
11.30 – Class rep voting info
