The course is suitable for working professionals and managers from various non-financial backgrounds to give them the skills and confidence to make informed and objective financial decisions.

This course is designed to equip non-financial managers with the essential financial tools and knowledge to fully participate in strategic policy. It provides both a theoretical and practical understanding of financial and management accounting, introducing students to a broad programme of accounting experiences from day books to financial statements and their interpretation to the practical business financial activity of budgeting, and controls demanded by contemporary organisations.

Applicants under 23 years of age:

Under 23 Years

5 O6/H7 grades in the Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent award

OR

FETAC Level 5 Full Award

Applicants over 23 years of age (Mature students):

Direct Entry - If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form.

 

It is recommended that applicants have a good understanding of both written and spoken English.
