The Higher Certificate in Business aims to develop students who are capable of applying their newly gained skills and business practice in varied areas of employment and/or their academic knowledge into further education.
In 2010, this programme was programmatically reviewed which ensures it focuses on the business needs of students and the wide business environment. The Higher Certificate in Business is a two-year full time programme designed to give students a rich overall perspective of business. Management, finance, enterprise/business development and information technology are all addressed in this programme.
Griffith College welcomes applications from Leaving Certificate students, mature students and students who hold FETAC Level 5 Awards. Some FETAC holders may be eligible for advanced entry onto specific related programmes at Griffith College.
On completion of the Higher Certificate in Business, students are welcome to apply for advanced entry onto the BA (Hons) in Business Studies, the BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, or the BA in Marketing.
