Confirmation of Attendance & Guest Tickets

Please complete the online confirmation form here and indicate if you will be attending, the number of guests you are bringing and any special needs that you or your guests may require.  Deadline date for confirmation of attendance is Friday 21st October 2011.  Each graduand is permitted to bring two guests on the day.  Should you require additional tickets, please apply on the above form and the Graduation Office will notify you during late October if tickets become available.  This information can also be e-mailed to graduation@gcd.ie.  Please note: tickets are required for entry into the building.  Guests should enter by the main entrance and be seated fifteen minutes before the Conferring Ceremony.  There is a strict limit on numbers and only those with valid tickets will be permitted to enter the building.

The official robe providers for the conferring Ceremony are Irish Legal and Academic.

The Ceremony / Group Photography

Each ceremony is an hour and a half in duration.  After which, graduands have a group photograph taken before joining their guests in Arthur’s bar for refreshments.

Dress Code & Academic Robes:

The dress code for this event is formal.  It is also essential that each graduand wears the appropriate academic robes during the ceremony.  Having pre-ordered your robes (as outlined above), they will be available for collection in a designated room on the day of your Graduation.  You will be guided to this room on your arrival to Griffith College Dublin. 

Merchandising

Parking

There is ample free parking available in the grounds of the College with additional paid parking options outside the College grounds.  A map of the campus is available here.

Refreshments

Light refreshments are available in Arthur’s Bar after each ceremony.  Please join your fellow graduates and the staff in celebrating your achievements.

Graduation Ball 2011

The 2011 Graduation Ball will take place on the evening of Friday, 11^th November. This event is organised by the Students Union.
