General English - 20 hours contact time (15 + 5 as an elective) (includes 1 elective choice)
Delivered at 5 levels (Beginner English/Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced) [1]
(Duration 2 - 52 weeks)The General English Programme is structured to develop the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in general contexts.
[1] For a level to be opened there needs to be a minimum of 8 students presenting at the level.
Electives 5 hours contact time per week
Included in your 20 hours of contact time is an elective choice, where you the learner decide what areas you want to improve, Electives take 5 hours contact time per week and include the following selection, but if there is demand we can also offer others!
Conversational English
This elective is primarily for students who wish to improve their speaking skills and for those who just like to speak!
Business English
This Business English class elective is primarily for learners who are in a business environment or are looking to develop business English skills for future use.
Exam Training
When demand is high for a specific exam to be offered as an elective we offer exam preparation for that exam. It can also be taken as a double elective (10 hours per week). Please see exam training for the list of exams that may be offered as an elective.
English for Academic Purposes
This elective is for learners planning to study at an English Speaking University or with an interest in Academic English.
Grammar Boost
This elective is for students who learn best by learning grammar, have an interest in grammar or for those students who feel that grammar is an area that needs improving.
Vocabulary Development
This elective is for learners who need or desire to improve their vocabulary. Focus is placed on using recently learnt vocabulary to develop skills for internalising and taking ownership of the language.
Focus on Writing
This elective is primarily for learners who need to improve their written communication skills and also for those who have an interest in writing.
Focus on Listening
This elective is primarily for learners who need to improve their listening skills and also for those who really enjoy learning by listening.
Focus on Reading
This elective is primarily for learners who need to improve their reading skills and also for those who really enjoy learning by reading.First Certificate Examination (FCE) (Intermediate and above)

From just €315 per week (based on a minimum of two weeks) you can live and learn in our campus situated in Dublin’s city centre. That’s right, accommodation and tuition for just €315 per week.
