Griffith College (GC) and St. Nicholas Montessori College (SNMCI), Ireland are delighted to announce a formal partnership between both colleges.

The formal partnership is intended to advance the interests of learners of both colleges, allowing for synergies and best practices to be exploited in respect of pedagogy, learner resource provision, research activities of staff, IT based learning and administrative management.

SNMCI has a proud reputation as a specialist provider of Montessori teaching and Montessori teacher preparation from its base in Dunlaoghaire and on an outreach basis from centres in Cork, Limerick and Galway.

GC is a leading independent provider of higher education across a broad range of disciplines from business, computing, law, journalism, design and music.  GC's programmes are offered from its main campus in Dublin's South Circular Road, and from its constituent colleges and associated locations in Dublin City Centre, Cork, Limerick, Naas, Drogheda and online.  GC also provides HETAC programmes overseas in Munich, Germany and in Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina.

Both colleges provide HETAC validated programmes in education as follows:

SNMCI:                BA (Ord) in Montessori Education

                              BA (Hons) in Montessori Education

                              Higher Diploma in Arts in Early Childhood Montessori Education

GC:                        Higher Diploma in Arts in Music Education

                              Higher Diploma in Arts in Drama Education

                              Postgraduate Award in Training and Education

Both institutions will also retain their separate identity as distinct registered HETAC providers.
