Griffith College has one of the best-known interior designing courses in Dublin. Our Interior Design course is designed to inspire students - teaching them to explore their creativity and to think, design and act imaginatively and professionally in any environment.
If you are eager to take the first steps towards becoming a professional, creative and competent designer, then the two-year Griffith College Diploma in Interior Design is right for you.
Offered full time and part time, this course will educate you in the demands and requirements of the contemporary design profession. The structure of the course and the size of the classes allow students to develop their own unique abilities.
The Diploma in Interior Design is a stepping stone to further study. The first two years of the Diploma in Interior Design are common to the BA in Interior Design (Level 7), therefore upon successful completion of Year 2, students can progress directly to the Year 3 of the Level 7 degree course. And, if they wish, from there they can progress to the honours degree year.
The Diploma programme is validated by Griffith College Dublin and is recognised by the Institute of Designers of Ireland. Students who successfully complete the programme may apply for Associate Membership of the Institute of Designers in Ireland. All modules on the programme are also individually certified by HETAC.
Our Interior Design graduates are working as interior designers in design and architectural firms. Many choose to continue their education in design, while many others have set up their own design businesses. Our graduates can also 'think outside the box' and seek employment in related areas such as TV programmes on interior design, display design, design management, textiles and set-design
