The objective of the advanced module, which leads to the awarding of a Diploma in Online Marketing and Digital Strategy, is to reinforce the learning outcomes of the certificate module through a focused practical 12-week session where users produce digital artefacts that demonstrate the concepts they have learned in the certificate course.
The course will emphasise the need for digital practitioners to conceptualise their digital media ecosystem in terms of Owned, Paid and Earned Media. This gives a robust mental model to the participants to plan out their digital strategies in a form that ensures they develop balanced and optimized digital paradigms that meet their stated business objectives – e.g. increase demand, generate awareness, reduce customer acquisition costs, increase retention, reduce customer service costs, increase quality of leads passed to sales etc.
The course will also provide a platform for participants to produce core digital artefacts that make up a robust digital tactical solutions such as podcasts, blogs, video channels, videocasts, streamed outputs, screencasts, active social profiles on the main social media networks, recorded webinars.
They will also produce a Key Performance Indicator model that monitors and measures the progress and relative success of any digital programme and demonstrates Return on Investment which is vital in a business context and will help participants understand how to and the need to develop revenue and business value based digital plans for approval by senior management.Course Content

If you are under 23 you will need to send me a copy of your leaving cert results with your application form.
