Seamus Fitzpatrick - BA,DBS,M.EconSc,HDE
Seamus holds an honours degree in Economics from University College, Cork. After completing his BA he obtained postgraduate qualifications in Business and Education at University College, Galway, and University College, Dublin respectively. Seamus also completed his Masters in Economic Science at University College, Dublin. He has been involved in third level education since 1995 and specialises in economics and marketing.

Angela Harvey - MSC, PG Cert

Angela is a part time Lecturer in the business faculty since 2005 teaching on both the BA (hons) in International Hospitality Management programme and on the BA (hons) in Business Studies.
Angela has extensive experience in both the domestic and international Hospitality market. Her international experience was gained in the USA with Marriott Hotels and in London with InterContinental/Forum Hotels before returning to Dublin to open the 5 star Conrad International Dublin in the capacity of Director of Sales and Marketing.
Since establishing her own consultancy, Angela has undertaken a range of projects which include business model planning; sales training; marketing research and support, and the creation/implementation of operating procedures for small companies.
Angela holds a MSc in Hospitality Management (First Class Honours) from the Dublin Institute of Technology’s School of Hospitality and Tourism and has just completed a special purpose diploma in Teaching and Education from Griffith College Dublin.
My active involvement in the hospitality industry influences and assists my teaching role. My teaching goals are to continue to strive for the pursuit of excellence through learning and to create passionate business leaders of tomorrow.
Angela O’Keeffe - BA, MA.

Angela O'Keeffe studied Economics and Mathematics in University College Dublin. Following her graduation with a Masters Degree, she lectured in Dublin City University for one year. She then joined KPMG Stokes Kennedy Crowley in their taxation department where she sat her Professional Taxation examinations. Angela is currently studying in DIT for a Masters Degree in Third Level Teaching and Learning. Angela has taught Mathematics and Economics across many faculties in Griffith College.
Jacqueline Tracey - MBS, PGCTL.

Jacqueline has lectured for six years in Griffith College and has an outstanding experience within the hospitality industry. She has also complemented her professional background with volunteer work. Jacqui has contributed enormously to the college by developing links with the hospitality industry, enabling students to gain professional industry placement.
I would like to inspire my students by providing an effective learning experience while supporting and mentoring them to reach their full potential. I want to directly influence with my effort and enthusiasm my students’ interest in the business environment. 
Eilis O'Leary - B.Comm, MBS, PG Cert.

Eilis has been a full time member of the Business Faculty since 2006. She has lectured: Principles of Marketing, Buyer Behaviour, Business Project, Marketing Management and Research, International Marketing, and Services Marketing. Her expertise in the area attracted the NOEA University in Aalborg, Denmark to her being invited as a guest lecture.
I want my students to reflect on marketing in their own lives and in the environment around them to see how it impacts on us and the choices we make. We are always learning - I encourage students to challenge me and challenge existing assumptions in the marketplace. This is, in my view, the key to innovation and idea creation.
Majella Mullhall - BA, MIHCI

Majella is the Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management. She has worked in the Hospitality Industry at a senior management level for a number of years. Majella is a qualified Trainer and Tutor for the Trainers in Industry programme and has worked as a trainer for Failte Ireland before joining Griffith College Dublin as a lecturer.
I would like to provide students with a positive and enjoyable learning environment in which they can acquire skills and knowledge that will assist them in their future careers. 
Geraldine McGing - BA, GradDipMgt, HDipArts, MSc (Ed.Mgt.), MMII

Geraldine is passionate about developing the enterprise spirit of the learners in the faculty. This stems from her own successful career in advertising that she enjoyed before establishing two businesses in the services sector. She is fervent in encouraging international networks amongst the learners and is continually promoting the opportunities that SME development can deliver.
Geraldine has published widely in both international peer-reviewed journals including the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, and national publications, such as the Irish Journal of Management. She has co-edited a hospitality management book and has several chapters in books to her name. She has also presented many research papers at international conferences. She is currently pursing her PhD.
Ed Dennehy - BA(HONS), MBS, DBA

Ed holds a BA (Hons) in European Business Studies (University of Wolverhampton), a Masters in Business Studies (UCD) and a Doctorate in Business Administration (NTU). Ed has lectured in Management-related subjects for the past seven years, in various colleges Ireland. Before entering lecturing, Ed worked as a Business Analyst with Compaq and as a Customer Services Representative with American Airlines. Ed’s research interest areas include employee identity and organisational behaviour.
Martin Murphy - MBA

Martin has been involved in numerous successful commercial projects. He holds experience in the airline industry and teaches in other institutions as well. Currently, Martin is working in research of a new learning product.
I would like to achieve a balanced approach to teaching/learning and ensure that students enjoy that experience. The learning experience should be enjoyable for all concerned. 
Michael O’Grady - FCCA, ACII

Michael lectures in Financial Management/Financial Strategy to Business students and Accountancy students in Griffith College. Michael has designed and delivered courses at professional, undergraduate and master’s level.
Michael is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). He has thirty years experience in Financial Services, having held a number of senior positions in various companies.
Michael has been working in education and training for over twenty five years.
James O'Leary - BSc (Econ), MSc (Econ)

James is author of the textbook ‘Make that grade – Economics’ from 2007. He holds experience in lecturing at third level and has been recognized for his high quality work.
I like helping students reach their full potential. 
Madeleine Ford - FCCA

Madeleine is Course Director for the MSc in Accounting & Finance Management and also the Deputy Head of the Business Faculty with Griffith College. She has lectured across a breadth of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as on the professional accountancy CPA, ATI, and ACCA programmes.
John Byrne - BA (HONS), MBA

John holds an honours degree in chemical engineering from the University of Dublin and an MBA (marketing and finance) from the University of Toronto (Canada). He holds professional engineering designations in Canada (P.Eng.) and the U.K. (C.Eng.)
John is a senior lecturer in Griffith College Dublin. John brings his many years of experience in consulting and mentoring to the final year business plan module which he coordinates. John has 20 years experience both nationally and internationally in the areas of marketing, management and manufacturing.
