Launch of new MA in Design (Interior Architecture) at Griffith College Dublin
Dublin, 29th June, 2011: If Design is your game, then Griffith has something to offer you this coming September!
The first MA of its kind in Ireland, the MA in Design (Interior Architecture) has been designed to offer graduates and professionals the continued academic and professional training they desire.
The MA in Design is subject to validation by HETAC.
In light of the current economic conditions, there is an increasing demand for designers with highly specialised skills, specifically in technological, presentation and design management application
Our MA and Postgraduate Diploma students will receive training in specialised technical design skills relating to interior design and architecture, especially with regard to high-end presentation and design-for-industry technical design.
They will also learn to effectively manage the design process and project design, and develop the skills to remain flexible within various client structures – both in Ireland and abroad.
Our programme aims to create design professionals who can deliver professional products from day one. Professionals who can “hit the ground running” and take the lead either as a part of a larger team or working on their own as a self-employed designers.
Graduates of this course are attractive to architectural and design practices both in Ireland and abroad. Our students are equipped to undertake interior architectural projects and independently carry them through to completion. Griffith College graduates often work on projects in commercial design (galleries, leisure complexes, retail units, hotels) and specialist conversion projects, some involving building conservation.
