Alan Leech, originally from Drogheda, Co. Louth performed today (Monday, 23rd May 2011) at a concert held for US President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle at College Green in Dublin City.

Alan is a lecturer with the Leinster School of Music and Drama at Griffith College’s Music Academy and a full time singer with the National Chamber Choir of Ireland. He sang “Danny Boy” to the tens of thousands gathered for the celebration of Obama’s visit. Read the rest of this entry »

On Monday the 23rd of May 2011, the BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management students received their Industry Placement Certificates in a presentation ceremony which took place in Griffith College Dublin.

Wednesday 18th of May 2011 Griffith College Dublin welcomed a group of visiting Professors from the School of Economics and Business, Sarajevo University. The Professors were in Griffith College Dublin to meet the Final Year Business studies students who had travelled over to Ireland in September 2010. The students completed two years of study in the School of Economics and Business, Sarajevo University and travelled to Ireland to join the final year of BA (Hons) in Business Studies in Griffith College Dublin.
