Scholarship Announced to Celebrate First Copyright Course in Ireland
Griffith College Law School, in consultation with top industry lawyers, has developed a ‘Copyright course for recent graduates or professionals in the music and entertainment industries’. The first and only course of its kind in Ireland, this specialist course delivers an overview of areas of Copyright law including Intellectual Property law.
What affect, if any, do you think the layout of the class room has on student learning and engagement? I have sought to offer some insight into the affect of classroom layout on the learning experience and in creating a suitable learning environment. Lecturers have a responsibility to combine as many resources, props and teaching methods as necessary to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
In a competitive business environment many companies have come to the conclusion that training programs can improve not only employee skills but also their company loyalty. This particularly applies to IT training programs because skills can become out of date so quickly. Although there is a risk of losing employees that have just been trained the benefit of training these employees far outweighs the risk.
What is Human Resource Management (HRM)?
This is a function within an organisation concentrated on recruiting, managing and directing people who work in it. Human Resource Management deals with issues related to compensation, performance management, organisation development, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, training and others. HRM plays a strategic role in managing people and the workplace culture and environment. If effective, it can contribute greatly to the overall company direction and the accomplishment of its goals and objectives.
