BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management
If you have ever dreamt of working in or running a restaurant or a hotel anywhere in the world the BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management three year full-time undergraduate programme is for you.
Our hospitality course focuses on introducing and preparing students for management roles in the international hospitality industry. The key areas of the programme include a range of business management and hospitality management modules. The vibrant nature of this hospitality course takes an international perspective which will prepare you for your future management career in the hospitality and tourism sector.
This three-year hospitality course is 70% management focused with 30% of the subjects being practically oriented. Modules are delivered by means of formal lectures, technical skills, training, tutorials, practical industrial experience and a substantial third year project. The key hospitality modules are delivered by a team of professional lecturers who have both industry and academic experience.
As part of this programme Students are required to complete 1000 hours of work experience before entering their final year. This experience is normally achieved during the summer months. Students who have accredited prior experiential learning can also gain entry to this programme and ultimately have the opportunity to develop their management and professional skills.
