Why Study Marketing?
Marketing is essential to any business. The purpose of any business is to meet consumers' needs and wants while making a profit. Of course, the term profit can be defined in many ways- for example a charity's "profit" may be securing donations or creating awareness about an issue. Whatever a company's goals, marketing is the means by which a company realises its true "profit" potential.
A marketing qualification can open doors to a number of exciting and challenging careers. These include, but are not limited to; advertising, PR, sales management, market research, retailing, product design and development, branding , and much much more.
It is important to remember that marketing is central to all business activities- whether in a large multinational or in a small local business. Marketing is about focusing on the customer.
This three year programme engages students on all key marketing disciplines while also giving them grounding in broader business disciplines. Griffith College understands that each student is unique. This degree features an embedded award so that students who wish to exit after two years can do so with a level 6 award in Business.
